OUGD504: Design Production - Design for Print Introduction to Print Year 1

In first year I attended a print indiction at Vernon Street where I experimented with Mono print, lino print and letterpress. I had never done these processes before but I found it very helpful and eye opening. I particularly enjoyed letterpress even though we did not use the proper equipment. I have not used these skills within this brief because I do not feel like it would benefit me as I am aiming my pack more at commercial print. 

I have never used any of the print processes before so I found this workshop very interesting. We were introduced to 3 print processes; mono print, lino print and letterpress.

Above are all of my experiments. I found monoprint very useful and I enjoyed letterpress very much. I don't think I will use Lino print very often as I found it quite to cut into the rubber as is shown on the above image.
