OUGD504: Design Production - Design For Print Final Concept

After brainstorming ideas and deciding on a target audience I feel I am now at a place where I can set my final concept and start developing visuals for my pack.

My final concept is to create a pack for new students which will consist of 4 elements. One will be a manual which gives all of the information about print, second will be an activity book which will test the knowledge of the students after they have read the information, third will be a build your own print press made from laser cut MDF or thick card and finally I will create a4 format information graphics which will be laminated for use in the print rooms. 

I think this idea will work really well and I am looking forward to producing it in a style which I am comfortable in. I am also looking forward to challenging myself with the new processes (laser cut) and improving my confidence with tools other than the computer. This is concept is very solid at the moment but it could be altered over time and development stages.
