OUGD503: Responsive - Studio Brief 2 (Collaborative Practice) Interim Evaluation

I have chosen to work with Adam Garbutt for the collaborative brief.

The briefs we have chosen: Redrow (YCN) Confused.com (YCN) Npower (D&AD)

Why have you chosen to work with your creative partner? What are your aims?

I have chosen to work with Adam because we both share an interest within web and digital design. I wanted to make sure that I worked with someone who was not within my close friendship group because I know first hand that it is not a good idea. Adam also likes to work with vector images which is also a similarity between us both.

I personally aim to improve on my web skills and become more confident with Dreamweaver and CSS.

What are your specific areas of creative interest in these briefs?

The briefs Adam and I have chosen all lend themselves to a web based resolution which is the sole reason for choosing them. I also really like the concept behind some of the briefs (redrow) as we can relate to them as we are within the target audience.

What specific design skills do you have to offer in relation to your selected briefs? How do you intend to use them?

What specific non-design skills do you have to offer in relation to your selected briefs? How do you intend to use them?

Having completed OUGD504 I feel that my confidence with approaching industry professionals for help will help Adam and myself to succeed within this project. I really enjoy meeting people and asking questions, I feel that by taking initiative we can get results which other partners might not.

What will your specific roles be in the collaboration in relation to your briefs?

What do you think your individual responsibilities will be in relation to your briefs?

What do you think your joint responsibilities will be in relation to your briefs?
